Appen USA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Health Data Analyst to join our innovative AppenWell Advocates team. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in analyzing health and wellness data to inform and shape our wellness programs, ultimately improving employee health outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to the development of data-driven strategies that promote a healthy work environment and enhance employee well-being and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect, process, and analyze health data from various sources, including wellness program participation, health assessments, and employee feedback surveys.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track wellness program metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
3. Work closely with the HR team and wellness program managers to translate data findings into actionable insights and strategies.
4. Conduct evaluations of wellness program effectiveness, providing recommendations for enhancements based on data analysis.
5. Ensure data privacy and security in handling sensitive health information, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
6. Collaborate on cross-functional teams to integrate wellness initiatives with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in health data analysis, preferably in a wellness or healthcare setting.
3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Python, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
4. Knowledge of health and wellness metrics and their impact on employee productivity and well-being.
5. Experience with data privacy and security practices, particularly in handling sensitive health information.
