This fully remote position is crafted for both entry-level enthusiasts and experienced professionals passionate about health and fitness. As a key member of our team, you'll lead the charge in developing, coordinating, and managing engaging virtual fitness programs. These programs are designed to cater to the diverse needs and fitness levels of our employees, promoting physical well-being and fostering an engaging, supportive community through fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement comprehensive virtual fitness programs, including live-streamed classes, challenges, and on-demand resources, adaptable to all fitness levels.
  2. Collaborate with fitness professionals to deliver a wide range of classes and workshops, such as yoga, Pilates, strength training, and cardio, suitable for both beginners and fitness enthusiasts.
  3. Effectively coordinate schedules and maintain clear communication with instructors and participants to maximize engagement and participation.
  4. Regularly monitor and assess the impact of fitness programs, leveraging participant feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  5. Utilize engaging communication and marketing strategies to promote wellness and fitness events company-wide.
  6. Work alongside the HR team and other wellness program managers to seamlessly integrate fitness programs into Appen USA’s broader wellness initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee wellness needs.

Qualifications:

  1. A passion for fitness and wellness, with or without a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification in fitness instruction or personal training (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is welcomed but not required for entry-level applicants.
  3. Openness to candidates new to fitness program development and coordination, with encouragement for those having experience in virtual or remote settings to apply.
  4. Demonstrated ability to organize, manage multiple programs, and adapt schedules effectively, catering to a wide audience.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for motivating and engaging with employees across diverse fitness backgrounds.
